Fifth Annual Delhi Policy Group–Defence Intelligence Agency Workshop for Defence Attachés (Designate)

The Delhi Policy Group (DPG) organised a one-day training workshop for Indian Defence Attachés (Designate) in collaboration with the Defence Intelligence Agency on April 22, 2024. This was the fifth iteration of the annual DPG-DIA training workshop and was attended by 18 Defence Attachés (Designate) and two DIA officers.
The DPG Senior Faculty and guest speakers made presentations to the Defence Attachés (Designate) on the current state of the global order, great power rivalry, India’s strategic posture, the impact of technology on warfare, the evolving nuclear landscape, security challenges in India’s continental neighbourhood and maritime domain, relations with key neighbours and major powers, and efforts to enhance economic security and resilience. These were followed by an interactive Q&A discussion.
The event was part of DPG’s regular outreach programmes with the Ministry of Defence and the Indian Armed Forces.
