Roundtable Discussion on “Aspirational Bhutan: The Next Chapter of India-Bhutan Relations”

The Delhi Policy Group organised a roundtable discussion with H. E. Major General Vetsop Namgyel, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bhutan to India, on “Aspirational Bhutan: The Next Chapter of India-Bhutan Relations” on June 17, 2026. 

Discussions at the roundtable explored the next chapter of India-Bhutan relations as Bhutan enters a new phase, one shaped by the aspirations of a young population, economic diversification, sustainability, innovation, and transformative initiatives such as the Gelephu Mindfulness City. The event was conducted under the Chatham House Rule.
